An enterprise proposed to open more cheap flights to Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao
According to the representative of Thien Minh Aviation Joint Stock Company, currently the demand for flying to Con Dao is very large, so the company wishes to open a flight from Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao under the model of low-cost airline business.

Currently, the company is completing legal procedures and if approved, it can be put into operation in 2020.
At the meeting, Mr. Luong Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of Department of Transport of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, said that in 2012 the province had many proposals to the Ministry of Transport such as reducing fares, increasing flights, connecting domestic airports and International to Con Dao but only saw increases in flights and reduced fares so it is necessary to propose more flights to Con Dao.
The representative of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province also agreed to open more routes from Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao to break the monopoly and scarcity of air tickets to the island.
As for the representative of Con Dao district People's Committee, the travel of the people of Con Dao is still quite difficult, especially in the rainy season when the ship is temporarily stopped operating so much. Therefore, it is necessary to open more flights to Con Dao and if the airline goes into operation, there should be incentives for people of the island district.
